Mid-Day Rant: BCS Computers

I am sick and tired of the BCS computers.  Earlier on, their hate of the Big Ten was somewhat justified, but now it is downright outrageous.   Please tell me how a four loss Texas team has a higher computer ranking compared to a two loss Wisconsin team.  Nebraska, a team who has three losses who Wisconsin stomped on earlier in the season has a higher ranking than the Badgers.

It is not only my Badger bias that hates the BCS computers.  Fan bases around the country should have beef with the CPUs.  Oklahoma State, a 24.5 point favorite, just lost to Iowa State.  Granted it was on the road, they were still a heavy favorite and should have at least dropped four or five spots in the polls. In the human polls, they dropped from two to sick, however in the average computer ranking, they dropped one spot to two. Oklahoma, suffered their second loss to a double digit underdog weekend, yet the computers still have them at 6.

Are we not over this Big Twelve love yet CPUs?  The Big Twelve is looking identical to the Big Ten with no dominant team and extreme parity.  I would like to see the exact formulas for the computer rankings because I see no reason why the Big Twelve should be the favored conference.  If it was the Big Ten who was favored over the Big Twelve, we could be in the fight for a national title spot if the chaos continues which it most certainly will.
