I will obviously be starting with the Badgers. Earlier in the week I mentioned how I was extremely nervous for the MSU game, this week I am not. I think Russell will come back with a strong performance and there will be no sign of a hangover for the badgers. The Buckeyes can move the ball on the ground but to keep up with the Badgers, you need to be able to throw. In the Buckeye’s last game, they had 1 pass for 19 yards, that will not cut it. Badgers 41 – Buckeyes 17.
One of the best rivalries in the SEC also comes hand in hand with the biggest cocktail party in the world. Although I could not be there this year, I should be attending next year with my college roommate (Shout out Jesse) who currently goes to law school in Jacksonville. I think Georgia has no problem in this game and extends their winning streak to six. Georgia 27 – Florida 17
One of the most important games tomorrow takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska. Michigan State is riding there (sigh…) three game winning streak and has a crucial match-up against the Huskers. The winner of this game will have the inside track to win the Legends division and make it to the Big Ten championship game. With two stingy defenses, this game could really go either way. However, I think Kirk Cousins out performs Taylor Martinez to lead the Spartans to victory, setting up a collision course for a rematch with Wisco in Indy. Spartans 24 – Nebraska 21
My first upset bid for the week will take place in Atlanta when the Tigers visit Georgia Tech. Clemson has been on a roll lately thanks to the connection of Tajh Boyd to Sammy Watkins. I do not think GT has the defense to slow them down yet I think they have the offense to stay in the game. GT has had the most plays in the NCAA of 50 plus yards and therefore has the ability to put up points on a subpar Clemson defense. A defense who has let up almost 900 yards in the past two games. This one will be a shootout folks. Georgia Tech 41 – Clemson 38
Now for the College Gameday’s matchup of the week, Stanford @ USC. I think we see a second undefeated team bite the dust this week as Stanford visits the Coliseum tomorrow night. It was only a short time ago Stanford beat USC in SoCal for one of the biggest upsets in NCAA history. I think the Trojan’s return the favor lead by Matt Barkley and USC’s running attack. Luck is surrounded by weapons, but with the Trojan’s still on suspension, this is their bowl game. USC 34 – Stanford 27
